I wrote the VERY uncomplimentary message about the light not always working on my garage door. I called and told the lady who answered the phone. She sent the absolute nicest, most knowledgeabe, most helpful young man. He was also in the happiest mood ... the kind of person you want to be around. My garage door works better than new. He did a GREAT service job, explained why the light was not always working, fixed that, lubricated the door and it is the quietest it has ever been. Marvin Allen Doors overcorrect what the first service man did, rather did not do. I VERY highly recommend them. They really fix the problem.

The first time I needed service I had a very polite and knowledgeable repairman, but he left with the door going up and down VERY loudly. On August 24, 2012 (a Friday afternoon) I got someone very much in a hurray to leave and very unpleasant. One of my problems was that the light worked sometimes and sometimes it didn't. I had called the office earlier and even the lady at the desk told me what was probably wrong, but that was the first time I had had anyone to check it. I explained all this to the repairman. When he got ready to leave, I reminded him to check why it worked sometimes and not at all times (naturally it was working on that day) ... He snapped back at me ... "It's working now." I explained again what the lady that answered the phone at MAGD told me. He was even more angry. He had no intention of checking it out. Now the light is not coming on again.
